RETURNS & WARRANTY

Every used item we sell is hand-inspected and graded honestly. If it's not what we said it was, we make it right.

30-day warranty on used gear
All pre-owned bodies, lenses and lighting carry a 30-day Mighty Cameras warranty against mechanical and electronic failure under normal use.

14-day returns

​

  • Window: Return most items within 14 days of pickup or delivery.

  • Condition: Item must come back in the same graded condition with all included accessories.

  • Refunds: Issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days of inspection.

  • Restocking: No restocking fee on used gear returned in the same condition with everything included. Items that come back incomplete, or with wear they didn’t leave with, may see up to 10% deducted.

  • Order cancellations: Email or call right away — if your order hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel it and refund you in full. Once it's shipped, standard returns apply instead.

Not covered: accidental damage, water/impact damage, normal cosmetic wear noted in the listing, and clearance items marked "as-is / final sale."

​New items — opened is final sale

  • Factory-sealed: Unopened new items can be returned within 14 days for a full refund.

  • Opened: Once a new item is opened it can no longer be sold as new — so opened new items are final sale.

  • Exceptions: We review situations case-by-case; approved returns of opened new items carry a 25% restocking fee.

SHIPPING & PICKUP

Local pickup — free
Order online and pick up at 12446 Brookhurst St, usually ready the same day during store hours. We'll email you when it's ready.

Shipping

  • Rates by weight & box size: shipping is calculated from how much your order weighs and the box it needs.

  • Small stuff ships free: orders under 1 lb usually go free.

  • Processing: Orders ship within 1–2 business days. You'll get tracking by email.

  • Insurance: All gear over $500 ships insured and signature-required.  

 

We currently ship within the United States only. For international inquiries, contact the shop.

RENTAL TERMS

Rentals are reserved by request — send one from the Rent page and we confirm availability and pricing by email. A few ground rules keep the cage stocked and fair for everyone. You can also book us directly on ShareGrid or FriendWithA.

  • ID & deposit: Valid government ID and a refundable hold on a credit card are required at pickup.

  • Rental days: Your pickup and drop-off days don't count as rental days — you're only charged for the full days you keep the gear in between. Example: pick up on the 26th and return on the 28th, and that's a single rental day (the 27th).

  • Rates: Day rates cover the days you hold the gear; Fri-to-Mon weekend pickups are charged as a single day, and weekly rates are available for longer shoots.

  • Damage & loss: Renter is responsible for damage beyond normal use, theft and loss; optional damage waiver available.

  • Late returns: Charged at the daily rate per day past the due time.

  • Cancellations: Cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before pickup at no charge. Inside 24 hours, or a no-show, may be charged one rental day.

DIGITAL PRODUCTS

LUTs, presets, templates and eBooks are delivered as instant downloads.

  • Delivery: A download link is emailed immediately after payment and saved to your account.

  • Re-downloads: Free for life from your account dashboard.

  • License: Single-user license for your own commercial and personal projects. Don't resell or redistribute the files themselves.

  • Refunds: Because downloads can't be returned, digital sales are final — but if a file is broken or won't install, we'll fix it or refund it.

PRIVACY

We use essential cookies to run the cart, checkout and your account — those aren't optional because the site simply doesn't work without them. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools on top of that, we'll ask first through the site's cookie banner; nothing beyond what's essential loads before you choose.
